INLAY WORK KAMADHENU

Kamadhenu, also recognized as Surabhi, is a revered bovine goddess in Hinduism, revered as the progenitor of all cows. She is revered as a divine "cow of plenty," capable of fulfilling the desires of her owner, and is often depicted as the maternal figure of other bovines and the eleven Rudras. Iconographically, she is typically portrayed as a white cow with a female head and udders, or as a white cow embodying various deities within her form. In Hindu tradition, all cows are held in high esteem as manifestations of Kamadhenu. Consequently, Kamadhenu is not individually worshipped as a deity, and there are no temples dedicated solely to her; rather, her reverence is expressed through the general veneration of cows by observant Hindus.
